SMS / Messaging Policy

This SMS / Messaging Policy describes the text messaging program operated by Personal Brand Coaching LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). It is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description — Two Separate Consents, Never Bundled
SMS consent is never bundled with our Terms & Conditions or any other required agreement. Accepting our Terms does not opt you in to SMS. SMS opt-in is collected only through independent, unchecked-by-default checkboxes on our application form. Opting in to SMS is optional, and declining is not a condition of any purchase or service — you may apply for and purchase any program without checking either SMS box.
Personal Brand Coaching LLC operates two separate SMS message categories, each requiring its own independent opt-in as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA):
- Transactional / Informational SMS: application status updates, onboarding instructions, appointment scheduling and reminders, rescheduling, and customer support replies. Sent only to recipients who opted in to transactional SMS.
- Promotional / Marketing SMS: announcements about new coaching cohorts, programs, special offers, and limited-time enrollment windows. Sent only to recipients who separately opted in to marketing SMS.
Opting in to one category does not opt you in to the other. Marketing consent is collected on a separate checkbox and is not a condition of any purchase or service.
2. How to Opt In
On our application form you will see two independent SMS consent checkboxes — one for transactional and one for marketing. Each is unchecked by default. Check only the category (or categories) you wish to receive. You may also opt in by replying YES or START to a confirmation message, or by providing express written consent in another verifiable manner. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Sample opt-in language used on our forms
Transactional checkbox:
"I agree to receive transactional text messages from Personal Brand Coaching LLC at the phone number provided, including application status updates, appointment scheduling and reminders, and customer support replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help."
Marketing checkbox (separate consent):
"I separately agree to receive promotional and marketing text messages from Personal Brand Coaching LLC, including announcements about new cohorts, programs, and special offers. Promotional message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase or service."
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Most users receive fewer than 10 messages per month.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. These charges come from your mobile carrier, not from Personal Brand Coaching LLC. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message. After opting out you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS until you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy & Information Sharing — No Third-Party Sharing of SMS Data
Mobile Opt-In Data Is Never Shared With Third Parties — No Exceptions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
This restriction is absolute and includes: mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in status, SMS consent records, opt-in timestamps, IP addresses captured at opt-in, and user agents captured at opt-in. We do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise transfer any of this data to any third party for any purpose, other than directly delivering the SMS messages you opted in to receive.

9. Sample Messages
Transactional (sent only to transactional opt-ins):
- "Hi [Name], it's Personal Brand Coaching LLC. We received your application and will review it within 2 business days. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
- "Reminder from Personal Brand Coaching LLC: your strategy call is tomorrow at 2:00 PM PT. Reply C to confirm or STOP to opt out."
Promotional / Marketing (sent only to marketing opt-ins):
- "Hi [Name], it's Personal Brand Coaching LLC. Our next coaching cohort opens Monday — book your strategy call: https://personalbrandcoachingllc.com/apply Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply."
